Description

Clifton Rectory is a rectory built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features roughcast walls with red sandstone dressings and is topped by a hipped roof made of graduated materials, which includes roughcast chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays, with extensions at the rear. The entrance is a central panelled door set within a prostyle fluted Ionic porch. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, and there are canted bay windows on either side. The extensions include round-headed stair windows and additional sash windows with glazing bars, all framed in red sandstone surrounds.
