Description

Clifton Hall Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features painted stucco walls with painted V-jointed quoins, topped by a graduated greenslate roof that has banded calciferous sandstone chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays, with a single-bay lean-to extension on the left. The central entrance has a 20th-century door and overlight set in a raised painted stone surround. The sash windows, which include glazing bars, are framed by painted stone surrounds. The extension contains a smaller sash window, also with glazing bars and a painted stone surround.
