Description

The parish boundary stone located in front of Clifton Dykes Cottages dates from 1847. It is made of cast iron and is supported by sandstone. The stone has a triangular shape with a shaped cap, featuring inscriptions on plates on each side that read "PH OF BROUGHAM 1847" and "PH OF CLIFTON," although the latter inscription is partly missing. The date 1847 is also inscribed on the top of the stone.
