Description

The alms table beside Countess's Pillar dates from 1656, the same year as the pillar itself. It consists of two square flat slabs stacked on top of each other, with the upper slab featuring a chamfered underside. Lead-filled holes indicate that something was placed on top of the table. This table has been used for the distribution of alms every year on 2nd April since its construction. It is graded for its group value with Countess's Pillar.
