17/124 Ramp barn & byres to north-west of Warcop Tower farmhouse

'L'-shaped range of farm buildings initialled and dated T.W. 1726 on re-used medieval window head set in north wall; later additions and alterations. Coursed rubble with quoins. Corrugated asbestos roof. 3 byre doors with segmental heads, one to left has rusticated surround. C20 door and 3 windows inserted; loft access with segmental head above. Ramp up to wagon entrance at rear. North wall incorporates 2 medieval stones with heraldic carving, bottom panel has 2 shields under hoodmoulds, Musgrave arms on left and Dalston arms on right; same arms appear in spandrels to cusped, ogee window head which has later date above. C20 lean-to on north side not included.
