Description

Eden Gate is a large house, dating to the mid-19th century, and later subdivided. It is constructed of incised stucco with a first-floor sill band, an eaves cornice, and a blocking course. The roof is hipped and covered with graduated slate tiles, featuring corniced stone chimneys. The symmetrical north-east front has two storeys and five bays. A central Greek Doric prostyle porch provides access via a part-glazed door, and the windows are sash windows with glazing bars.
