Description
These stables, located west of Inglewood Bank, were built in 1877, as indicated by the inscription "RT 1877" above the doorway. They are constructed from coursed red sandstone rubble with lighter sandstone dressings and feature a graduated hipped greenslate roof topped with a banded sandstone chimney stack. The building is two storeys high and consists of four bays. There is an off-centre carriage entrance with plank doors and a glazed overlight set in a round arch, along with smaller segmental arches to the right. The windows are irregular sash windows with chamfered surrounds. A later right-angled extension is present but is not of interest. The stables are listed for their group value with Inglewood Bank.
