Coach house, stables and barn for Nunwick Hall. Probably 1845 barn with late C19 additions. Barn has coursed red sandstone rubble walls with flush quoins, under graduated greenslate roof with gable weather vane. Stables/coach house of snecked red sandstone with flush quoins, under Welsh slate roof with banded red sandstone ashlar chimney stacks. 2-storey, 5-bay barn with right-angled 2-storey, 5-bay stables/coach house, forming overall L-shape. Barn has right and central segmental-headed doorways and left flat-headed doorways and openings. Coach house/stable has large hip-roofed porch with inner round-arched carriage door; and central C20 garage door. First floor casement windows in stone surrounds under hoodmoulds. Right flat-headed door and window. Rear flat-headed doorway and loft doorways with some casement windows in stone surrounds. Listed for group value with Nunwick Hall. Detached barn without roof, in process of demolition at time of survey, is not of interest.
