Description
The coach house and barn located to the south-east of Newbiggin Hall date from the late 18th century and are part of a group of farm buildings. They are constructed from coursed, squared rubble with quoins and feature a graduated slate roof with stone copings and kneelers. The building has three large wagon doors on the left and one in the centre right, all of which have segmental heads, imposts, and projecting keystones. There are vent slits with chamfered surrounds. The structure includes two inserted 20th-century windows and one door, while the wagon door to the barn is partly blocked. Additionally, there is an inserted 20th-century door at the south end.
