16/100 Grooms' quarters to south-east of Newbiggin Hall

Grooms' quarters forming west range to group of farm buildings; late C18 with some later alterations. Coursed, squared rubble with quoins. Graduated slate roof, hipped to west, has brick chimney to east end. Symmetrical 2-storey, 5-bay north elevation has central panelled door flanked by casements with glazing bars; 5 smaller windows above are unglazed. All windows have stone surrounds. Ground floor door; 1st floor door up steps to rear. C20 garage doors inserted in west end.
