Description
This boundary stone, located approximately 30 yards northwest of Storth End Farmhouse near Summerlands, dates from the early 19th century. It is made of dressed limestone and features wide stop-chamfers on the front corners. The stone is painted black and white, with black sans-serif lettering diagonally on each chamfer indicating "STAINTON" to the north and "PRESTON RICHARD" to the south.
