Description
This boundary stone, located approximately 100 meters east of Crosslands Farm, is likely from the early 19th century. It is made of dressed limestone and stands upright with a round head. The front corners feature deep chamfers, although no stops were visible at the time of the survey. The stone has incised and painted lettering indicating "OLD HUTTON" to the northwest and "PRESTON PATRICK" to the southeast. This stone is a variant of a type found in neighboring parishes. It was previously listed twice in the parish of Old Hutton and Holmescales, but that entry was removed from the list on June 12, 2017.
