Description
This building is a shop, known as Kerr & Sons Bookshop, located in Lower Allithwaite, Cartmel. It was likely built in the 19th century and features roughcast stone with limestone dressings. The structure is two storeys high and consists of one bay. The windows have stone jambs and lintels; the ground floor window has a 19th-century casement with segmental heads to the lights, while the first-floor window has a 20th-century casement. The entrance on the left side has a door with four fielded panels and a top light, and there is a plate glass window to the right. This building is included for its group value.
