Description
Church Town House is a house, now divided into flats, located in Lower Allithwaite. It is probably from the 17th century, with a second storey added in the early 19th century. The building is constructed of roughcast stone and has a slate roof. It stands three storeys high and features three bays. The ground floor has sashed windows with glazing bars, while the first floor has windows with small-paned casements. The second floor is distinguished by four tall windows with 24-pane sashes that have horns. The entrance, located in the second bay, is covered by a flat bracketed canopy and features a 19th-century six-panel door. There are gable-end stacks present.
