Pair of houses. Early to mid C19, altered. Pebbledashed (No.25 painted) with limestone ashlar dressings, brick chimney caps, and slate roof. 3 storeys and 3 bays overall (No.27 of one bay). The 1st and 2nd floor windows are sashed with projecting sills, except for the left-hand window on the 2nd floor, which is a casement. There is a 1st-floor sill band. The ground-floor windows are wider and have roughly-arched heads. They now contain C20 casements. The doorways are paired, that to No.25 is in the central bay and that to No.27 is to its right. They share a limestone ashlar doorcase of 3 engaged Tuscan columns with a cornice and blocking course. Chimneys to right and left.
