Description
Shepherd's Inn is a public house formed from two houses, dating from the early 18th century and late 18th century. The building features painted stucco walls and is topped with a Welsh slate roof, which includes painted stucco chimney stacks. The right side of the building is a two-storey, two-bay house, while the left side is a two-storey, three-bay house with a slightly higher roof line. The older house has a central top-glazed panelled door set in a painted stone surround. It also has small sash and casement windows, all within painted stone surrounds. The left house has had its right doorway blocked to create a sash window, which is partly in the original painted stone surround. Larger sash windows are present in painted stone surrounds as well. A rear extension is noted but is not of interest.
