House, now public house. Late C18. Painted incised stucco with painted ashlar dressings; Welsh slate roof with dark grey ridge tiles and brick chimney. 2 storeys, 3 windows and 2 lower storeys, 2 windows; left return pent extension. Low wide w-panelled door and pain overlight at right of higher build; altered ground floor windows of irregular size, perhaps the left in blocked opening, have plain reveals and painted projecting sills; first-floor sashes with glazing bars have wood architraves and painted projecting sills. Lower build at right has 2 plain round floor windows and small renewed first -floor sashes in wood architraves with projecting sills. Hipped roof; truncated chimneys at right end of each build. Left return of higher build has renewed ground-floor windows, the left under catslide roof, and one wide sash above with glazing bars, wood architrave and projecting painted sill. In prominent position above road cutting.
