Description

Powley Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century, with an early 19th-century extension. The exterior features painted incised stucco and painted raised quoins. The roof is made of graduated greenslate and includes banded red sandstone chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and two bays, with a lower left set-back two-storey, single-bay extension. The central door, from the 20th century, is set in a painted stone architrave with a pulvinated frieze under a pediment. The farmhouse has double sash windows in painted stone surrounds, while the extension features sash windows also in painted stone surrounds.
