Description
This barn, located to the west of a cottage and northeast of Town Head Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It features clay walls that have been repaired with red sandstone and a slate roof. The structure is two storeys high and consists of three bays. There are three upper doors and three lower doors, all separated by wooden lintels, along with a small ground floor window to the right. Slit vents can be found at the rear of the barn. It is likely that the barn was built around the same time as the cottage in 1689, as both were under the same ownership.
