Description
This barn, located west of Priory Farmhouse, dates from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed from irregular courses of squared sandstone with ashlar dressings and features a stone-flagged roof. The barn is two storeys high and has five bays. The second and fourth bays have plain stone surrounds for boarded doors, while a near-central pitching door above features a stone surround with wider blocks near the top of the jambs. There are also vent slits present. On the left return gable, there is a boarded door with an overlight under a stone lintel on the left side, along with additional vent slits.
