Description
This is a barn located to the west of Pump Farmhouse, dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed from roughly-tooled coursed sandstone and features large quoins on the left side. The roof has been renewed with large 20th-century pantiles and includes a stone ridge, copings, and kneelers. The barn is two storeys high and is lower than the farmhouse, consisting of five irregular bays. Stable doors alternate with small windows on the exterior. There are external steps leading to a loading door that breaks the eaves. Small loft openings, which are boarded and partly glazed, are present at either end of the barn. Attached to the barn is an outbuilding that is one tall storey high, featuring two stable doors and three similar ground-floor openings.
