Description
Pump Farmhouse is a farmhouse, probably built in the mid-18th century. It is constructed from coursed roughly-tooled sandstone and features large quoins. The roof is pantiled, with a stone ridge, copings, kneelers, and chimneys at both ends. The building has two storeys and three bays. The central door is from the 20th century, and there are 20th-century casement windows on either side, which have glazing bars. These windows are set in heavy herring-boned alternate-block jambs and have wedge lintels with tall proud keystones. The windows have been slightly lengthened and have later cills. A window has been inserted in the center of the first floor, which has a projecting cill. The farmhouse also features block kneelers and end chimneys.
