Description
Green Park is a house that was formerly part of Green Lane House, dated 1829, with an additional date of 1850 above the rear entrance. It is constructed of red sandstone ashlar on a chamfered plinth, featuring V-jointed calciferous sandstone quoins and a moulded eaves cornice. The roof is a graduated hipped greenslate, topped with tall octagonal ashlar chimney stacks on rectangular bases. The building has two storeys and three bays, with a recessed two-storey, two-bay extension to the right. The entrance features a panelled door beneath a radial fanlight, framed by a pilastered surround with a false keystone and mutules. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, set in calciferous sandstone surrounds. Green Park has group value with Green Lane House.
