Description

This is an early 19th-century house located on the green in Dalston. It is built of red sandstone ashlar with snecked detailing, set on a pointed plinth, and features V-jointed quoins. The roof is green slate, and there are 20th-century brick chimney stacks. The house has two storeys and three bays. The front features a six-panel door set beneath a radial fanlight, all contained within a pilastered rounded arch with a false keystone. Sash windows with glazing bars are set in painted stone surrounds.
