Description
The stables and barn located to the west of Green Lane House were built in 1830, with an extension added around 1850. They are constructed from coursed red sandstone rubble and feature flush quoins, topped with a graduated hipped greenslate roof. The building is a long, two-storey structure that includes a stable extension on the left side, all under a common roof. To the right, there is a large projecting cart entrance with plank doors. The building also has plank doors set in stone surrounds and slatted openings, along with loft doors above that have similar stone surrounds. The extension mirrors these architectural details. This structure is listed for its group value with Green Lane House.
