Description

Croft House and stables date from the early 19th century. The house is built with Flemish bond brickwork above a chamfered stone plinth, featuring raised V-jointed quoins. It has a graduated greenslate roof and brick chimney stacks. The house is two storeys high and three bays wide. A two-storey, two-bay stable is attached to the left and is lower in roofline. The front of the house features a six-panel door with a patterned fanlight, set within a pilastered surround, topped by a round arch with impost blocks and a keystone. Sash windows with glazing bars are set in plain stone surrounds. The rear of the stable has plank doors to the ground floor and to a loft space.
