Description

Boustead Hill House is an early 19th-century house located in Burgh by Sands. It features incised stucco on a chamfered plinth and has a graduated greenslate roof with stucco chimney stacks. The house is two storeys tall and has four bays, with single-storey, single-bay wings on either side. The entrance includes a six-panel door topped by a glazed fanlight and is framed by a prostyle Tuscan porch supported by fluted columns, which has a triglyph frieze and cornice. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are set beneath flat arches and stone sills, while the windows above the entrance and in the wings are adorned with architraves.
