Description

Maxwell Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage constructed from mixed red and yellow sandstone, featuring a slate roof and brick chimney stacks. The building stands two storeys high and consists of three bays. It has a 20th-century porch made of pebble-dashed brick with a wooden upper structure. The entrance and windows have plain stone surrounds, and there are two-pane sash windows along with a 20th-century door. To the right, there is a stone lean-to with a slate roof that is of contemporary date.
