Description

The property is a house, built in the mid to late 17th century with a later 18th-century addition. The original section is constructed of red sandstone rubble, while the extension features cement-rendered walls with V-jointed quoins on a chamfered plinth, a string course, and eaves cornice. Both sections are roofed with graduated greenslate, the extension having coped gables, kneelers, and ashlar chimney stacks.

The original house is a low, 5-bay structure. It contains casement windows with chamfered surrounds, where stone mullions have been removed. Small fire windows are situated on both floors, flanked on either side. The extension is a taller, 5-bay design. A 6-panel door is set within an eared architrave with a keystone. The extension's ground floor has single-pane sash windows set in stone architraves, while the upper floor windows have glazing bars, also in stone architraves.
