Description
Raughton Head House is a house that likely dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed from a mix of red and calciferous sandstone rubble, featuring flush quoins and a graduated greenslate roof with stone chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays, with a single-bay extension to the right under a common roof. The entrance includes a six-panel door set within a stone architrave. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, also framed by stone architraves. There is a lower outbuilding to the right, but it is not of interest.
