Description

Thrangholm Bridge is a road bridge that likely dates from the mid-18th century. It features an inscription on the parapet stone that reads "WILLIAM STALKER HEAD," though the remainder of the inscription is illegible. The parapet was rebuilt in the late 19th century. The bridge is constructed from coursed red sandstone and has a single span segmental arch supported by battered abutments, topped with a solid parapet.
