Description
Chapel House is a house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of red sandstone rubble with painted V-jointed quoins on a chamfered plinth. The roof is made of graduated greenslate and features stone chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and two bays, with a lower two-bay extension to the left. The former entrance has been replaced by a French window set in a quoined surround with a keyed entablature. The windows are 2-pane sashes in painted stone surrounds. The extension includes a large 20th-century glazed porch on the ground floor, with 2-pane sash windows in painted stone surrounds above.
