Description

A farm outbuilding dating to the mid-19th century, situated north-north-west of Raughtonhead Hill Farmhouse. Constructed of coursed squared sandstone with a Welsh-slated roof, it features a single brick ridge stack. The north-west elevation has a single-story, six-bay design. It contains two full-height openings with planked double doors to the south-west, a brewhouse with a single doorway within a quoined surround, and a 9-pane window in a plain surround. The remaining three bays, likely former pig sties, have doorways adjacent to wall troughs, below vertically-louvred openings. One upper opening has been blocked with stonework. The building is listed for group value.
