Description

Sharp Ford Bridge is a road bridge built around 1800 and restored in the late 20th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone with dressed stone dressings. The bridge features a single segmental arch made of rubble stone voussoirs. There is a slightly projecting dressed stone band at road level, with plain parapets above. The side walls are curved on either side. Part of this bridge is listed in Thurgoland parish.
