Description

Sharp Ford Bridge is a road bridge built around 1800 and restored in the late 20th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone with dressed stone dressings. The bridge features a single segmental arch made of rubble stone voussoirs. At road level, there is a slightly projecting dressed stone band, and above this, the bridge has plain parapets. The side walls curve gently on either side. Part of this bridge is also listed in the parish of Hunshelf.
