Description

Marton Bridge is a bridge dating from the mid-18th century, which was widened at a later date. It is constructed of hammer-dressed sandstone and features a single span with a semicircular arch that has a roll-moulded design on the downstream side. The bridge is supported by battered abutments and has a chamfered band located beneath a plain parapet that is raked at the center.
