Description
The Aspens is a house with an attached outbuilding that includes a loft, dated 1728 on the quoin and raised later. It is constructed from coursed squared sandy limestone and rubble limestone, featuring quoins and a pantile roof with brick stacks. The house is two stories high and has a three-window front, with a two-bay outbuilding to the left. The entrance has a 20th-century board door, and to the left is a two-light, large-pane horizontal sliding sash window, both with timber lintels. On the right, there are similar windows, one with three lights and another with two lights, both featuring flat arches. The first floor has two-light, 12-pane horizontal sliding sash windows. There are stacks at both ends and in the center on the left. The outbuilding has a plank stable door to the right of a two-light casement window, which has shutter pins in the frame.
