Description
Roehill is a farmhouse dated and inscribed over the entrance with "T.H. 1811". It is constructed from coursed red and calciferous sandstone rubble, featuring painted V-jointed quoins. The roof is made of graduated greenslate and has end red sandstone chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and five bays. The central entrance has an early 20th-century door set in a painted alternate-block surround beneath a keyed lintel. The sash windows are framed in raised painted stone surrounds. The left side of the building has a central early 20th-century door with flanking blind windows, all in painted stone surrounds. The right side is slate hung. The rear extension and barn are not of interest.
