Farmhouse and adjoining barns. Early C18, incorporating part of the earlier house dated and inscribed over rear entrance M.D. 1670. Late C18 or early C19 barns. English garden wall bond brickwork. Graduated greenslate roof with coped gables and kneelers, brick chimney stacks. Rear ground floor of whitewashed stone. 2 storeys, 5 bays with flanking 2-storey barns of lower roof line; rear of house has projection forming T-shape, which was the original house. C20 door in painted stone architrave. Sash windows with glazing bars to right; window ower entrance and upper floor left are 2-pane sashes, all in painted stone architraves. Larger sash window with glazing bars to left of entrance in late C18 painted stone surround; blocked window on extreme left. Barns have slit vents, that to left with ground floor openings under wooden lintels. End wall of barn to right, has large plank door cart entrance with loft above. Rear of house has side entrance under inscribed lintel with pointed soffit.
