Description

Cavendish Hill is a house dating to around 1850. It is constructed of painted stucco over a chamfered plinth, with angle pilasters and an eaves cornice. The roof is slate, hipped, with gabled dormers and original brick chimney stacks on the slopes. The house is two storeys high, with a three-bay front and two-bay returns, and includes a double-depth plan. A central panelled door, with an overlight, is set within an Ionic stone porch. The upper floor has sash windows with glazing bars, set in painted stone architraves, while a blank shield is located above the roof dormer. The interior has not been inspected.
