Description

Limetree Grove is a farmhouse dated 1761, as inscribed above the entrance with the initials J. & S.S. The building features roughcast walls with painted raised quoins and a Welsh slate roof, which is complemented by 20th-century brick chimney stacks. It stands two storeys high and has three bays. The entrance includes a 20th-century door beneath a glazed fanlight, set within an alternate-block surround that features a dated keystone. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are framed by painted stone surrounds. There is a lower addition to the left of the main structure, but it is not of interest.
