Description
The building is a woodshed outbuilding located south-west of Bridge End, originally a house that later served as a byre and stables. It dates from the early to mid-17th century and has undergone alterations in the 19th century. Constructed from red sandstone rubble, it features a Welsh slate roof with bottom courses of sandstone slates. The structure is single storey and consists of three bays, though it was originally two storeys tall before the walls were reduced in height. The central entrance is topped with a Tudor-shaped lintel. To the right of the entrance, there is a two-light stone-mullioned window with a chamfered design, which is set under a hoodmould, along with a similar blocked window above it. A 20th-century window and entrance are located to the left. Inside, there is a pair of upper crucks in the central portion of the building. The building is listed partly for its group value with Bridge End.
