Description

Sebergham Bridge is a road bridge built in 1689 for Alexander Denton, with repairs made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed from large blocks of red sandstone and features two segmental arches supported by a central pier with splayed cutwaters. The bridge has solid parapets with chamfered coping, which end to the west with square stone piers. The square stone piers on the east side have been removed to allow for an extension of the parapet.
