Description

Churchtown Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1769, as inscribed over the entrance, with a late 18th-century extension. The building features cement rendered walls with painted V-jointed quoins and a graduated greenslate roof with rendered chimney stacks. It is two storeys high and has three bays, with a lower single-bay extension to the left. The entrance has a top-glazed panelled door set within an eared architrave and topped by a triangular pediment. The farmhouse has double sash windows, with those on the upper floor featuring glazing bars, all in painted stone surrounds. The window above the entrance is also in an eared architrave. The extension includes sash windows in painted stone surrounds. There is a single-storey garage and archway to the left, along with barns to the rear, which are not of interest.
