Description

The byres located to the east of Floshfield date from the late 18th century or early 19th century. They feature whitewashed sandstone rubble walls topped with a corrugated asbestos roof. The building is two storeys high and has two bays. There are two plank doors set in painted stone surrounds. To the left, there is a two-light casement window, and above it, a sash window with glazing bars. There is a 20th-century opening to the right. The right end wall has half-plank doors and a loft above, also in painted stone surrounds, along with a 20th-century window to the right. This structure is listed partly for its group value with Floshfield.
