Description
Hutton Grange is a farmhouse dated 1832, as inscribed on the rear datestone, likely referring to J. & S.N. The building features dressed red sandstone walls, an eaves cornice, and V-jointed quoins, topped with a graduated hipped greenslate roof that has end sandstone chimney stacks. It is two storeys tall and has three bays. The entrance includes a panelled door and fanlight set within a prostyle Ionic porch. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are framed by raised stone surrounds. At the rear, there is a door and sash windows with glazing bars, and the central staircase window has a round head with intersecting glazing bars.
