Description

The Solway Bakery Company and Dental Surgery is a shop with a dental surgery located above, dating from the early 19th century, with 20th-century alterations. The building features incised stucco with pilaster strips at the corners and a moulded cornice, along with stone dressings. It has a graduated slate roof and brick chimney stacks. The structure is three storeys tall and has two bays. The ground floor has a 20th-century shop window and entrance. On the first floor, there is a large sash window with glazing bars, which has a moulded surround with a projecting cornice and console brackets. The second floor has sash windows with glazing bars that also feature moulded stone surrounds. This building is included for its group value.
