Description

This flight of steps, dating from the mid-19th century, is located approximately 20 meters southwest of the garden front of Overstone College. It is likely designed by W.M. Teulon and constructed from limestone ashlar, featuring low parapets on either side. The steps are part of a formal arrangement that includes another flight of steps about 20 meters northwest of the garden front, a terrace wall, a balustrade, and a flight of steps approximately 10 meters west of the garden front, as well as a terrace wall and gate about 40 meters west of the garden front. This structure is included for its group value with Overstone College.
