Description
The Dairy is a building that has been converted into a house, with a datestone indicating it was built in 1848. It features squared coursed lias stone with ashlar dressings and has an octagonal plan. The building is two storeys high and includes two-light stone mullion windows. To the left, there are 20th-century glazed doors with the datestone positioned above. The Dairy has a plain parapet and a conical roof topped with an octagonal ventilator and a lead cupola. At the rear, there is a two-storey wing that has 20th-century windows and doors. The interior has not been inspected. Originally, The Dairy was part of a group of estate service buildings that included the Courthouse, Whistlefield, Court Lodge, and No. 2 Court Cottages.
