Description
Hayes Lodge is an early 18th-century farmhouse with an L-shaped plan, constructed from regularly coursed lias stone and topped with a slate roof. The building stands two storeys high with an attic and features a main front that includes three windows with casements beneath wooden lintels. There is a central part-glazed door, also under a wooden lintel, and two dormers in the roof. The gable ends have parapets, and brick stacks are located at both ends. At the rear, there is a 19th-century wing. Attached to the east are barns that have a 19th-century roof structure and one gable from the early 18th century. The interior has not been inspected.
